The Private Sector Federation is a professional organization, dedicated to
promote and represent the interests of the Rwandan Business Community. It is
the umbrella organization and voice of the private sector.
The Private Sector Federation is a key role player in enabling the Private
Sector to respond to Rwanda´s vision for its future.
Over the years, the Federation has rolled out a number of exciting private
sectors in the fields of capacity building, entrepreneurship and business
growth, trade promotion etc.

recruit a qualified individual to manage the Nucleus Program.
Job Title: Nucleus Program Manager for PSF and GIZ
Reporting: Head of Membership Coordination Services
Duty Station: PSF Headquarters
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Among other duties, he/she shall perform the following:
– Coordinate and supervise Nucleus counselors.
– Coordinate with Nucleus counselors the preparation and validation by PSF and
GIZ,of an Annual Nucleus Action Plan.
– Ensure timely and quality preparation and implementation of action plans to
the required approval processes.
– Support Nucleus counselors to gather all information (records, forms,
reports, etc.) regarding the implementation of the Nucleus Approach in Rwanda
efficiently and in due time.
– Attend in a due time all meetings and/or activities, namely those regarding
coordination, indicators review, monitoring progress, as scheduled by PSF
and/or GIZ.
– Participate together with counselors in visibility, awareness raising,
diffusion and/or dissemination activities regarding the Nucleus Approach and
its implementation in Rwanda, e.g. organization of Nucleus events inside and
outside PSF, in order to share experience and gain more Nucleus members
– Assure the implementation of the Nucleus Approach in Rwanda by providing all
necessary strategic, operational and administrative information to participants
and potential participants.
– Any other duty assigned to you by your supervisor.
Interested candidates must fulfil the following requirements:
– Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in relevant Business studies or project
management from an accredited university.
– At least 3 years of working experience in a related field.
– General knowledge of business environment especially Small and Medium
Enterprises.
– Ability to work in teams/ close cooperation with nucleus counsellors,
colleagues of PSF/GIZ and partners
– Demonstrated understanding of project management best practices, including
planning, budgeting, stakeholder management, and more.
– An ability to write clear and concise memos, concept notes, reports and
position papers.
– Fluent in English, Kinyarwanda and French
– Open mindset for new ideas, willingness to learn, own initiative for new
ideas
– Strong computer skills (including text and spreadsheet processing, table
calculation (e.g. by Excel)
