Scholarships for International Students at Edmonds Community College in USA

The Edmonds Community College is offering
Scholarships for International Students in USA. The scholarships is open to all
first-time new and transfer-in college or high school students. Applicants
should have a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA for at least the last term of school.
Six scholarships are awarded per quarter for fall, winter and spring. The
scholarships will cover $500 USD tuition waiver to be deducted from the next
quarter’s tuition.

Eligibility: Must be a
first-time Edmonds CC international student with an F1 visa
-Enrolled in only college or high school courses for a minimum of 15 credits
-Have a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPAfor at least the last term of school
(GPA will be calculated by EDCC staff.)
-Must submit all required application documents by 5:00 PM Pacific Standard
Time on the due date
-Not eligible to apply if you have received a scholarship last quarter. For
example, if you received a scholarship for fall quarter, you cannot apply for
winter quarter, but you can apply again for spring quarter.
Scholarship Open for International Students: International students can apply for the scholarships.
Scholarship Description: Edmonds Community College strengthens diverse community by helping
students access educational and career opportunities in a supportive
environment that encourages success, innovation, service, and lifelong
learning. The Edmonds Community College New & Transfer-In
College/High School Student Scholarship is open to all first-time new and
transfer-in college or high school international students enrolled at Edmonds
CC.
Number of award(s): 6 students per quarter for fall, winter and spring.
Duration of award(s): The scholarship will be given as a tuition waiver and deducted from the
recipients’ tuition for the next quarter.
What does it cover? The scholarships will cover $500 USD tuition waiver to be deducted from
the next quarter’s tuition.
Notification:  Scholarship recipients will be notified by email and participate in an
awards ceremony. (Ceremony Dates : October 30, 2013 (Fall),  February
13, 2014(Winter ) and May 15, 2014(Spring ).
How to Apply: The mode of applying is by email, in-person or by post.
Scholarship Application Deadline: The application deadlines are: for fall is October 11, 2013, 
for winter is January 24, 2014 and for spring is April 25, 2014.
Note: Not eligible to apply if you have received
a scholarship last quarter. For example, if you received a scholarship for
fall quarter, you cannot apply for winter quarter, but you can apply again
for spring quarter.
