Swapping into Monero shouldn’t mean opening an exchange account, uploading your passport and waiting for approval. SilentXMR was built to make it simple again: pick a coin, see exactly how much XMR you’ll get, send, and receive it in your own wallet. No account. No ID. Ever.
Monero (XMR) has become the go-to coin for people who want their crypto to stay private. Every Monero transaction hides the sender, the receiver and the amount by default, something Bitcoin, Ethereum and stablecoins simply don’t do. The problem is getting it: fewer big exchanges list Monero than a few years ago, and the ones that do usually want full identity checks first.
SilentXMR fixes that. It’s a swap service that does one thing: Monero. Here’s why it’s worth a look, and how to make your first swap.
Built only for Monero
Most swap sites list hundreds of coins and treat Monero as one more ticker. SilentXMR is the opposite. Every page, every guide and every order is about getting you in and out of XMR cleanly.
You can swap into Monero from:
- Bitcoin (BTC)
- Ethereum (ETH)
- Litecoin (LTC)
- Solana (SOL)
- Tether (USDT) on Ethereum, TRON or Solana
- USD Coin (USDC) on Ethereum or Solana
And every route works in reverse, so you can swap XMR back into any of them whenever you need to.
No account, no ID, in writing
There’s no sign-up form at SilentXMR. You don’t create a profile, set a password or verify an email. You choose a pair, enter an amount and paste your receiving address.
More importantly, SilentXMR states in its terms that it never asks for ID, not for swaps and not for refunds. Many “no-KYC” services quietly reserve the right to freeze your order and demand documents later. SilentXMR puts its policy in writing instead.
Order records are deleted automatically after 90 days, and the site sets no tracking cookies.
A quote that actually holds
Crypto prices move every second, and that’s where many swaps go wrong: you see one number, send your coins, and get paid less because the market moved.
SilentXMR locks your quote for 30 minutes from the moment you create the order. Send your deposit within that window and you receive the amount you were shown, even if the price moves before your transaction confirms. Your order page shows a clear countdown so you always know where you stand.
One fee, already in the number you see
There’s no maze of service fees, spreads and “network costs” added at the end. SilentXMR’s 0.5% fee is already included in the amount it shows you. What you see on the quote is what you get. The minimum swap is $50.
Real people, around the clock
Every order is handled personally. SilentXMR is open 24 hours a day: processing starts as soon as your deposit arrives, and your Monero is sent out as soon as that deposit confirms. Each order has its own private tracking page, so you can check its status at any time, and support is a single email away at service@silentxmr.com.
If something goes wrong with an order, refunds are made minus the network fee whenever possible.
How to swap Bitcoin to Monero in four steps
1. Get a Monero wallet. Use one you control, such as Cake Wallet, Feather Wallet or the official Monero GUI wallet from getmonero.org. Open the receive screen and copy your address. A subaddress starting with 8 is a good choice.
2. Open the BTC to XMR swap on SilentXMR. Enter how much Bitcoin you want to send and check how much XMR you’ll receive.
3. Paste your Monero address and create the order. Double-check the first and last few characters against your wallet, then save your order link.
4. Send the exact Bitcoin amount to the deposit address shown, within the 30-minute window. Pick a normal or high fee in your wallet so the transaction confirms promptly.
That’s it. Once your Bitcoin confirms, your Monero is sent. Monero produces a block about every two minutes, and your wallet will show the funds as spendable after 10 confirmations, roughly 20 minutes.
The same steps work for ETH, LTC, SOL, USDT and USDC. Just pick a different starting coin.
A few tips for a smooth swap
- Send native coins on the right network. Bitcoin on the Bitcoin network, USDT on the network you selected, and so on.
- Send the exact amount shown on your order.
- Never share your recovery phrase. SilentXMR only ever needs a receiving address, and so does any legitimate service.
- Start small if you’re trying any service for the first time.
Bonus: 100 XMR in prizes
SilentXMR is currently running a prize draw: 10 prizes of 10 XMR each. Every swap created by 5 February 2027 whose deposit is received counts as one entry. The full rules and the published, verifiable draw method are on the site’s prize-draw page.
Ready to swap?
If you’ve been putting off moving into Monero because of accounts, ID checks or surprise fees, SilentXMR removes all three. Pick your coin, lock your quote for 30 minutes, and receive XMR straight into your own wallet.
