- We require a university degree (bachelor,
masters or alike), preferably in or with an emphasis on development,
international affairs, developmental tourism, health care, education,
communications, politics or other social sciences. - At least 2 years of professional experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills, not shy,
personal confidence and charisma - Extremely reliable, trustworthy and a high
degree of honesty - A high degree of flexibility and the ability
to work independently with little supervision - A sharp thinker, taking initiative and strong
organizational skills - High standards of professionalism and
performance - A team player
- Completely fluent in English (both written and
verbal) - Citizenship of a country of the East African
Community, preferably Rwanda
Desirable – not a must but a plus:
- Previous work experience in tourism,
development and/or similar professional contexts as well as travel to
surrounding countries and/or the West is a plus but not mandatory
- Proven experience in interacting with people
from different countries and cultural backgrounds, particularly the West,

demands experience and rigorous professionalism: together with the Program
Manager you will design capacity building programs which contribute to the
development of Rwanda and other East African countries. Your tasks include,
among others, meeting and liaising with local partners (from local NGOs to
high-level government officials) and arranging activities and events for client
programs.

In collaboration with the Operations Manager and
his team you will be involved in preparing program activities for clients
visiting Rwanda or a neighboring country and you will actively engage with
