I. JOB SUMMARY:
Right To Play is recruiting a Project
Coordinator for its Rwanda Country Program. S/he will be responsible for
coordinating and managing the implementation of Right To Play activities in
Bugesera and will be based at the Eastern Province Office. The incumbent will
be directly supervised by the Project Officer. The Project Coordinator (PC)
will be responsible, (i) building the capacity of Right To Play partners, (ii)
enhancing Right To Play overall public image, (iii) supporting Right To Play in
achieving its goals in Rwanda, (iv) reporting to donor and developing proposal,
(v) organizing and implementing workshops. S/he is also responsible of the
overall management of the Project in his/her area of intervention with a focus
on adult education training, budget development and monitoring, working with
children and youth to promote their holistic development, education, health and
peace.

- Ensure local implementation of MoU’s and
agreements with local representation of Government, UN Agencies and
Partner Organizations - Responsible and accountable for overall
implementation and financial management of the project assigned to

teachers, coaches, trainers that could apply the RTP Modules after having
appropriate training, as well to the number of beneficiaries - In collaboration with the project team,
support in cost effective preparation of operational plans and budgets. - Manages the budget within each project task
area assigned to him/her to ensure that resources are utilized as
budgeted. - Ensure partners are in compliance with Code of
Conduct and Child Protection Policy. - Responsible and accountable for effective
project spending according to the approved budget. - Ensure accurate and transparent reporting that
highlights follow up and action - Ensure accurate collection and timely
submission of quantitative monitoring information according to Right To
Play monitoring tools. - Produce and support PM in preparing quality
narrative and analytical reports, according to the reporting schedule. - Provide updates of lessons learned and best
practices to Project Coordinator and report on progress and challenges as
they arise. - Share all project related activities and
information of stakeholders with the Project coordinator. - Provide a weekly project brief
- Follow up logistic, administrative and other
related issues as needed, - Obtain quotes for equipment lists and
purchases when asked - Follow up payments for vendors, petty cash and
other related issues when asked - Draft petty cash monthly financial report and
provide proper documentation for petty cash

Job Responsibility # 2: Training
Work under the supervision and guidance of Project
Officer to build individual and organizational capacity through coach training
to utilize sport and play as tools to achieve child development, an individual

- Assist in developing appropriate training
curriculum and supporting resources - Deliver TOT workshop in RTP program modules
for organizational partners/ beneficiaries - Assess on going training needs, lead
evaluation and provide support to local coaches - In consultation with the Communications
Coordinator and Training Officer, determine suitable events based on
Government priorities - In consultation with the Communications
Coordinator and Training Officer, facilitate participation of media and
Athlete Supporters in project activities and events.

Job Responsibility # 3: Activity Implementation
Work under the supervision and guidance of Project
Officer to facilitate regular sport and play activities in RTP modules,
inclusive of Creating a Safer World, Youth as a Leader, Red Ball Child Play,
Early Childhood Program, and Live Safe Play Safe.

- Delivering training to School Teachers,
Trainers and Trainers of public and private schools and other I/NGOs
and CBOs on standard of RTP Modules - Implement agreed upon plans and ensure
implementation of activities align with specific outcomes in the logframes
and other project documents - Encourage and support local coach led
initiatives - Work with trained coaches to develop on
activity schedule - Coordinate with partners to monitor activities
of trained coaches and trainers - Conduct and organize special event activities,
play day and sport tournaments and delegations - Conduct regular field visits concerning
program implementation - Coordinate and facilitate the weekly team
meeting between staff

Job Responsibility # 4: Partnerships
Work under the supervision and guidance of Project
Officer to establish and maintain partnerships through regular consultations
with local partners, stakeholders and key beneficiaries in the implementation
of RTP programming:

- Conduct an assessment survey to determine the
NGOs that RTP could partner with - Participate in regular partner and
beneficiaries meeting, reporting minutes observed and next steps - Support the Project Manager to secure formal
partnerships for effective implementation of RTP programming - Represent Right To Play in partner and
coordination meetings in the project location - Establish and maintain local relationships
with representations of the Government, UN Agencies, Local, National and
International NGO’s - Support new partnership and develop new
proposals based on needs of children and youth.

Job Responsibility # 5: Monitoring and Evaluation
Work under the supervision of Project Officer to:
- Participate and support the implementation of
the Participation Monitoring System - Implement child tracking system that favors
rigorous follow up of changes among children and youth - Monitor the implementation of local resources
and training. - Assist M&E Officer in conducting baseline
assessments for new projects and as required during project expansion - Maintain accurate data base of all program
beneficiaries in his/her area of work - Support M&E Officer to develop strong
project reports - Provide sufficient, accurate and timely inputs
to reports - Submit periodic and quality reports on
projects unders his/her supervision

III. Qualifications
A) Education/ Training/ Certificate:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or Social
studies and experience with INGO work in one of RTP areas of focus (Education,
Health, Child protection, Gender Equality, Community Engagement, Inclusion)

A Master’s degree preferably in Social Sciences,

b) Experience and Core Competencies

- Strong training and facilitation skills;

staff;

Required:
Fluency in French, English and Kinyarwanda –
