SKOL Brewery Ltd is a fast growing Brewery of
international quality beer in Rwanda. Increasingly renowned for bringing you,
SKOL, GATANU,VIRUNGA MIST, AND GATANU PANACHE
beer brands. We are
seeking dynamic and highly result oriented professionals to fill the following
positions:

1. SALES REPRESENTATIVE (SREP 002) – 10 VACANCIES

Reporting to the Commercial Director; Responsibilities of the successful
candidate will include:

• Develop and maintain effective customer relations and promote the good will
of the company;
• Ensure that all products are rotated and code policy is followed;
• Maintain successful sales, distribution and placement of all Specialty
products;
• Undertake proper merchandising of accounts at Point of Sales(POS);
• Ensure efficient collection of accounts receivables within corporate credit
policy;
• Conduct promotions within assigned Key Sales Account on a regular basis or
when required;
• Prospect for and open new accounts;
• Handle customer inquiries regarding credit, delivery, orders totals, product
information, and other inquires;
• Organize and execute effective floor displays in order to increase volume of
impulse purchases;
• Execute daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly business objectives, and;
• Visit all assigned accounts and meet all scheduled appointments.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Required:
• Bachelor Degree preferably in Business Management/Business
Administration/Commerce
• Valid & Clean Driving Permit – with category B authorisation
• Good knowledge of FMCG Markets
• Proficiency in Office applications, including Ms. Word and Ms. Excel
• Good Written and Spoken French or English, Bilingual is a Plus
• Consumer Buying Behaviour & Knowledge
• At least 1 years’ experience in Sales Management experience within FMCG
industries (food, alcohol, tobacco, fuels and telecoms etc.)

2. HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (HRA 001)
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager; Responsibilities of the successful
candidate will include:

• Prepare all Recruitment material and information to support recruitment and
selection of staff such as Job Descriptions, Internal and External Job Adverts
among others;
• Plan & implement Employee onboarding (induction&orientation)
programmes for new employees and facilitate internal transfers;
• Support the monitoring, collection and filing of performance appraisals;
• Support the preparation & implementation of the Annual Training Calendar
reflecting departmental and individual staff training needs;
• Organise and coordinate all internal and external training programmes for
staff
• Prepare internal communication and engagement information on different HR
initiatives and organisation initiatives;
• Participate in the development and review of new and existing staff welfare
programmes/initiatives respectively;
• Manage all preparations for companywide staff meetings and functions;
• Support the implementation and monitoring of the Staff Compensation and
Benefits Policies;
• Regularly monitor all Employee Health & Safety Equipment and Facilities
and ensure that they are always at a satisfactory level; and,
• Manage all HR Records and continuously update them (both HR personal files
and electronic employee related data like the payroll).

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Required:
• Bachelor Degree in anyone of the following: Business Administration, Human
Resource Management, Management, Industrial & Organisational Psychology
• Proficiency in Office applications, including Ms. Word and Ms. Excel
• Knowledge of  Rwanda Employment Law and Best HR practices
• At least 1 years’ experience in a Human Resources Department
• Experience in using Payroll software like SAGE Payroll

3. LABORATORY TECHNICIAN (LAB TECH 003)

Reporting to the Head of Laboratory; Responsibilities of the successful
candidate will include:

Develop and maintain productive working relationships and communication with
Government Regulatory Authorities concerned with Food Safety and Standard &
quality;
• Ensure the implementation of the Food Safety Plan & Procedures in
connection with ISO Quality Management  & Environment Systems;
• Provide safe custody and care for all ‘tools of trade’ provided like
non-consumables and instruments provided while ensuring they are well
calibrated;
• Manage the Laboratory work space and work schedules for all assigned
co-workers/staff;
• Regularly monitor the effluent to minimize environmental impact and take
corrective escalation action during deviations from allowable parameters;
• Plan and manage quality improvement projects involving both internal and
external parties as well as organizing and participating in daily degustation
tasting procedures;
• Develop and monitor a quality feedback system that supports the collection of
feedback about beer quality and investigate arising reports;
• Monitor the Integrated Quality Management System and report any material
deviations and challenges in its implementation to Line Manager; and,
• Ensures that all regular documentation required by the Environmental
Management System is done timely.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Required:
• Bachelor Degree any one of the following: Biochemistry/chemistry/Food Science
& Technology with specialty in brewing and fermentation technology;
• Knowledge of the quality system (manuals, recipes, specifications, and 
sampling) within a  laboratory and food production environment;
• Practical knowledge in Food Production Quality Systems;
• Proficiency in Office applications, including Ms. Word and Ms. Excel;
• Good Proficiency in English and Kinyarwanda; and,
Minimum 1 years’ experience in similar work environment like brewery
or soft drinks, Water treatment plant or a Foods & Beverages manufacturing
company.

4. PROCUREMENT ASSISTANT (PROCA 004)
Reporting to the Procurement Manager; Responsibilities of the successful
candidate will include:

Prior to commencing the procurement process, review goods and service
specifications for offices and laboratories;
• Select vendors in line with Goods and Service Specifications and budget
allocations/value for money;
• Draft and issue Purchase Orders and contracts for goods and services
accordingly following internal procurement processes;
• Monitor all orders and follow through their delivery within procurement
delivery timelines;
• Maintain all procurement records of all issued purchase orders and contracts
and ensure they are always up-to-date;
• Work with all user departments to develop an inventory tracker/record for all
available supplies to ensure re-order levels are constantly monitored and replenishment done;
• Inspect and ensure what is ordered and delivered by suppliers is in line with
goods and service specification;
• Develop and maintain a database of suppliers for the different goods and
services regularly procured to foster competitive sourcing and obtain fast
turnaround times for sourcing goods and services;
• Check for compliance all contract related invoices before payments are made;
• Check and ensure that all contracts are not expired and look out for the
expiry dates to start the renewal process; and,
• Undertake contract negotiations for all goods and services

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience Required:
• Bachelor Degree in Procurement & Logistics Management or  one in
Business Management/Business Administration/Commerce with a bias in Procurement
& Logistics Management
• At least 1 years’  Purchasing experience within FMCG industries(food, alcohol,
tobacco, fuels and telecoms etc)
• Experience in working, contracting and negotiations with Suppliers
