S&H is a private company situated at Free zone
industrial park. It is specialized in production of tiles. The company is
seeking to recruit highly motivated people to fill the following current vacant
posts:
1. Electrical Engineer
Responsibilities
Reporting to the general Manager, the Electrical
Engineer will be responsible of the following:

  • Coordinate the electricians’ team for all
    electrical installation of the factory Assist in writing test operations
    and maintenance work instructions.
  • Develop work instructions and system safety
    hazard analyses for various systems.
  • Understand the capabilities and electrical
    equipment associated with test operations, support systems and associated
    hardware.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and keep drawings up to
    date for the factory, and other test assets as assigned. Interface with
    company internal and outside contractor electrical design groups for
    developing facility power distribution and controls modifications.
  • To provide guidelines for safety majors and
    ensure that they are adhered to.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the
    supervisor
Qualifications, knowledge, skills and ability required
  • Being of Rwandan Nationality
  • Degree in electrical engineering Al from a
    recognized University with at least 3 years working experience in senior
    position of the same field
  • Additional graduate level coursework in
    Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management or other related discipline
    is a plus.
  • Must have excellent written and oral
    communication skills in English, knowledge of French is desired Must put
    forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes
    teamwork and cooperation.
2. Mechanical Engineer
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the general Manager, the Electrical
Engineer will be responsible of the following:
  • Coordinate the mechanics team for all mechanical
    works of the factory Maintain continuous process improvement to reduce
    cost, improve quality, increase throughput and provide shop floor support
  • Resolve quality issues (non-conformances) by
    defining and eliminating ‘root’ cause
  • Develop and implement system enhancements to
    improve system reliability and capability.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and keep drawings up to
    date for the factory, and other test assets as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the
    supervisor areas by resolving operational and administrative issues before
    they arise.
Qualifications, knowledge, skills and ability required
  • Being of Rwandan Nationality Engineering Degree
    in Mechanical Al with minimum 3 years working experience in manufacturing
    processes
  • Additional graduate level coursework in
    Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management or other related discipline
    is a plus.
  • Familiarization with gear integration/assembly
    procedures/practices would be considered an asset but not essential
  • Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret
    Engineering Drawings, general business periodicals, professional journals,
    technical procedures, or governmental regulations is required Strong
    ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from
    groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public is an asset
3. Administrative Assistant
Responsibilities
Reporting to Finance and Administration Manager, the
Administrative Assistant to GM will be responsible of the following:
  • To anticipate the needs of your managers and team
    members and help them stay focused on their business
  • To be organized and analytical and possess the
    strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with
    a variety of people and job functions
  • Perform an extensive array of administrative
    tasks (manage calendars, book travel, and schedule facilities and equipment).
  • Expectation of complete confidentiality on all
    business matters.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the
    supervisor
Qualifications, knowledge, skills and ability required
                       Being of Rwandan
Nationality Bachelors Degree in Management A0 from a recognized University with
at least 3 years working experience in senior position of the same field
  • Must have excellent written and oral
    communication skills in English and French.
