experienced and skilled person to manage the procurement process of wheat straw
from small-scale farmers in Rwanda.

He/She
will be responsible for the management of the wheat straw supply from farm to
factory in Kigali. He/She will organize, supervise and coordinate all field
staff and straw baling operations as well as the transportation fleet. The
Logistics Manager will have to work professionally with MS Excell and other
tools, as well as (GIS) maps in order to manage a complex and daily updated
database of constantly changing parameters. The setting up, organization and
constant monitoring (with the help of field staff and farmers) of more than 50
collection points distributed over the country will be the starting point and
base of the logistical management challenge. The logistics manager has to plan
and decide on a short term base on the route and operations of the 5 baling
machines and the trucks, as well as to coordinate the 5 team members in the
field.
