School Departmental Scholarships

We are
proud to announce that we are now offering up to 4 new full fee scholarships
for outstanding candidates studying for an LLM at Warwick. These awards are
open to all applicants both home and overseas and have no country restructions.
You must already h

old an offer from the Law School and be able to meet the English language requirements.
Only candidates with an outstanding
academic performance
in law or a related subject degree will be
considered. We also value relevant work experience.

No separate
application form is necessary. To apply, please email an application statement
(maximum of 500 words) to s.e.prestleton@warwick.ac.uk
outlining the
reasons why you feel you deserve the award. Please clearly state your Warwick
student ID and name on your statement. Successful applicants will be notified
by the end of May.

GREAT INDIA Scholarship Scheme

The University of
Warwick is pleased to announce its involvement with the GREAT Britain
scholarship scheme on offer to students from India, wishing to study taught
Masters degrees.

The Law School is
offering two awards of £3000 across all our LLM programmes. To apply you must
be an Indian national residing in India and not in receipt of any other
funding. Further details can be found on the InternationalOffice webpages.

Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme

This scholarship is
jointly funded by the Department for International Development and Warwick Law
School. It is intended to help students from developing Commonwealth countries
to follow postgraduate courses related to the economic and social development
of their home country.

There is 1 award
available which covers full fees and maintenance for the LLM in International
Development Law and Human Rights.

Please visit the Commonwealth website for details of eligibility,
application forms and deadlines. Applicants must already hold an offer for the
LLM and have met the English Language requirement before applying for this
award.

Research
Funding

Chancellor’s
International Scholarships

Chancellor’s
International Scholarships are made available for the most outstanding
international PhD applicants. Awards made will be up to 3.5 years* of full time
funding and include:

  • The
    full payment of overseas tuition fees and a maintenance stipend.

*Current first year
PhD students who are successful will be allocated a scholarship for a maximum
of 2.5 years.

Law
School Research Scholarships

The Law School is
offering two further research awards for Doctoral students. The award will
cover full fees and a stipend (equivalent to that of the UK National Research
Council funding rates).

The scholarships
will be awarded for the standard period of three years. Applications are
welcomed from Home, EU and International students.

Applicants must have
applied for a place on the Research programme and supplied all required
supporting documentation. Please express your interest in being considered for
this award to S.E.Prestleton@warwick.ac.uk before the following
deadline: 28th
February 2015.

Please make sure
you have submitted a formal application before expressing interest in being
considered for the scholarship.

This award is open
to new applicants ONLY.

Faculty
of Social Science ESRC Doctoral Training Centre Studentships

The ESRC Doctoral
Training Centre at the University of Warwick covers a range of subjects and
interdisciplinary training pathways.

We are now inviting
applications for ESRC Doctoral Studentships, starting from October 2015
onwards. The funding covers fees, maintenance stipend and support for training.
