for international students

If
you are thinking about applying to Stenden University of Applied Sciences and
are currently exploring financial aid opportunities, you may be eligible for
the Holland Scholarship. We are a proud partner in the Holland Scholarship
programme, which provides financial assistance to international undergraduate
students from outside the EU/EEA.

More about the Holland Scholarship

Funded
by the Netherlands Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and various Dutch
higher education institutions (including Stenden), the €5,000 scholarship is
awarded to a select number of first-year students from non-EU/EEA countries.
The scholarship covers only the first year of study.

Do
you qualify?

To qualify as a candidate for
the Holland Scholarship you must:

be a
citizen of a non-EU/EEA country
not
have previously attended a Dutch institute of higher education
have
received a conditional or unconditional offer from Stenden for a
Bachelor’s programme of your choice
have a
high level of English-language proficiency (IELTS 6.0 or higher)

How
do you apply?

To
apply for the Holland Scholarship at Stenden University, please complete the attached form and submit it,
along with a cover letter, to io@stenden.com.
You must include the following information:

How you
will benefit from being selected

If
you would like to be considered for selection in the first round, your deadline
for application is 1st February 2016. A second selection round – subject to
availability of scholarships – will be held for students applying before 1st
May 2016.

If
you do not meet the above qualifications, your application will not be
considered.

How
does Stenden select candidates?

All
applicants will be evaluated individually by a committee at Stenden University.

All applicants will be informed on the outcome of their application personally
no later than 6 weeks after the application deadline.
