Requirements
- A
qualified electrical person with either a Diploma or a Degree in
electrical engineering or similar with a minimum of 10 years experience - Conversant
with PLC systems or relay logics as applied to industrial controls. - Evidence
of experience in a busy manufacturing environment - Ability
to effectively implement and manage a preventative maintenance
schedule - A
basic knowledge of mechanical engineering is essential - Ability
to read and interpret electrical diagrams - Ability
to diagnose malfunctioning systems using the appropriate equipment - Work
closely with a small team of electrical/mechanical engineers to ensure
minimum downtime in the plant. - Experience
with automated processing will be an added advantage - Work
under minimum supervision - Maintain
a high level of quality workmanship - Good
communication skills - Perform
other duties as required by management - And
most importantly must have a “Hand on’ attitude.
