Bakame
Editions is a non-governmental organization which has published children’s
litterature and youth in Kinyarwanda, French and English for 21 years.As the
first publishing house dedicated to the production of youth litterature in the
national language, Bakame Editions has focused on collaborating with both
Rwandan writers and illustrators and international experts in the field to
pursue one overarching goal: producing high-quality books in term

has been involved in a series of projects revolving around the promotion of the
culture of reading with children and youth.

Today,
21 years after Bakame’s foundation, it is time to initiate a generation change
in its leadership.We are therefore looking for a manager able and willing to
lead Bakame Editions into a new future. The ideal candidate should be a
self-confident, highly motivated, a communication expert with visionary ideas
and a good portion of entrepreneurial spirit.An experience is required in
working for a publishing house,in taking the lead in projects and an ability in
the mobilisation of funds for new projects.

3. Requirements
- Education:Minimum
Bachelor Degree in management, administration or other related field. - Fluency
in Kinyarwanda, French and English(both written and oral) and be well
acquainted with the Rwandan culture. - Application
letter duly signed and addressed to the General Manager of Bakame
Editions. - Detailed
curriculum matching the above criteria(references,address,telephone number
and email - Study
certificate must be authenticated by a notary.
