1. Senior Lecturer or Lecturer with PhD in the Department of Land
Survey (1)
Job
Requirements
  • PhD
    in Surveying, Land surveying, Geomatics, Geo-informatics and other
    Geospatial Sciences
  • Masters
    Degree in the Surveying, Land Surveying, Geomatics, geo-informatics or
    other geospatial sciences with the background and experience in academic
    and surveying areas.
  • Computer
    skills in softwares of surveying data processing, mapping and GIS
    analysis;
  • At
    least 3 years experience in teaching;
  • Able
    to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English and ability to
    develop creative future approaches to learning support;
  • Having
    a record in attracting external funding and research publications as well
    as effective teamwork and communication skills.
2. Senior Lecturer or Lecturer with PhD in the Department of Land
Administration and Management (1)
 Job requirements
  • A
    PhD or Master’s degree in Land Administration, Land Management and Land
    tenure, Land Laws or related discipline with a proven track of experience
    in the field;
  • At
    least 3 years experience in teaching;
  • Able
    to show academic leadership in both teaching and research and to support
    the management and strategic planning processes of INES-Ruhengeri;
  • Good
    computer skills in word application, Excel, PowerPoint and able to use
    SPSS;
  • Able
    to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English and ability to
    develop creative future approaches to learning support;
  • Having
    a record in attracting external funding and research publications as well
    as effective teamwork and communication skills;
  • Track
    record of significant and high-quality publications in reputable journals
    and other appropriate media of similar standing.




3. Lecturer or Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Biomedical
Laboratory Science (1)
Job
requirements
  • A PhD
    or Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences or related discipline with a
    proven track of experience in the field. A specialization in Chemical
    Pathology, Haematology/ ImmunoHaematology or
    Histopathology/Histotechnology will be an advantage,
  • At
    least 3 years experience in teaching;
  • Good
    computer skills in word application, Excel, PowerPoint and able to use
    SPSS,
  • Able
    to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English and ability to
    develop creative future approaches to learning support;
  • Having
    a record in attracting external funding and research publications as well
    as effective teamwork and communication skills.
Duties
and responsibilities of Senior Lecturer/Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer
  • Adopt
    an approachable and accessible attitude towards students, offering office
    hours, informal advice etc;
  • Contribute
    to the development of School research strategies and themes;
  • Ensure
    that course design and delivery comply with the institution quality
    standard and regulations, and take responsibility for the quality of
    programme units;
  • Identify
    and develop research objectives, and proposals for own or joint research
  • Regularly
    review and update course content and teaching materials, ensuring that
    they remain up-to-date and relevant, incorporating advances in the subject
    area and utilizing appropriate technology;
  • Set,
    mark, and assess coursework and examinations; select appropriate
    assessment instruments and assessment criteria; and provide constructive
    and comprehensive feedback to students;
  • Undertake
    and complete administrative duties required in the professional delivery
    of teaching.
4. Tutorial Assistant / Department of Land Survey (1):
(Opportunity for Graduate Students of INES-Ruhengeri only)
Job
Requirements
  • Holding
    a Bachelors degree in Land Survey;
  • At
    least upper second class division (Distinction) is a must;
  • To
    be proficient in English;
  • Demonstrable
    knowledge of survey principles and staking;
  • Ability
    to operate survey equipment including total stations;
  • Demonstrable
    knowledge ofGPS/RTK survey methods;
  • Ability
    to productively and efficiently utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D 2014 or 2015
    software is desirable.
5. Accountant in charge of revenue and recovery (1)
Job
Requirements
  • Holding
    a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA is a plus;
  • At
    least upper second class division (Distinction) is a must;
  • At
    least 2 years extensive experience is a must;
  • Ability
    to productively and efficiently utilize MS excel and SAGE 100 is
    advantageous;
  • To
    be proficient in English and French;
  • Ability
    to analyze and recommend improvements in accounting systems;
  • Ability
    to collect and organize accounting data, interprets its significance, and
    prepares accurate financial reports;
  • Ability
    to present accounting data in a clear and understandable manner to both
    technical and non-technical users.
 Duties
and responsibilities
  • Ensure
    the timely recording of revenues;
  • Ensure
    the recovery system is operated properly;
  • Report
    timely on the revenues;
  • Report
    timely on the recovery system;
  • Ensure
    supporting documents are properly filed;
  • Ensure
    the revenues accounts are timely reconciled and reported;
  • Assume
    any this duties requested by the Administration of the INES relating to
    his/her function.
