The Austrian Development Cooperation offers two types of scholarships:
scholarship for ADC’s priority countries and scholarship for other developing
countries on a competitive basis. These scholarships are available for
pursuing diploma in Hospitality Management or Tourism Management.
Limited number of
competitive scholarships are offered every year by the Austrian
Development Cooperation
The Tourism Schools
Salzburg are vocational schools with an outstanding international reputation
and a long tradition. They train future entrepreneurs and employees according
to the needs of the international tourism and leisure industry.
An internationally
recognized certificate proving the knowledge of English (TOEFL, Cambridge or
equivalent) is required.

The Austrian Development Cooperation offers about 30 scholarships – Scholarship
for ADC Priority Countries – limited to applicants from priority countries:
Includes tuition fee, health insurance, accommodation, travel costs, meals from
Monday – Sunday plus pocket money of approx: € 205 per month.
Scholarship for Developing Countries: Includes tuition fee, health insurance,
meals from Monday – Friday plus pocket money of approx: € 205 per month.
Not included: transportation costs, accommodation (€ 1976), meals during the
weekends and holidays

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the

- Minimum
1 year (including probation) of continuous and satisfactory service with
the nominating agency at the time of application; - Completed
at least Class XII or equivalent;

Admission Requirement
Entrance
Requirement:
GCE-A’ Levels or equivalent, which enables enrollment at a university
- At
least 1 year experience in the hotel or tourism industry - All
courses are conducted in English language, so an excellent command of
English is absolutely necessary. An internationally recognized certificate
proving the knowledge of English (TOEFL, Cambridge or equivalent) is required.
If the student’s English language skills are not sufficient the Institute
may decide whether he/she has to participate in extra English language
course in Austria at his/her own expenses. - Age
limit for scholarship applicant: 35 years

How to
