students in UK. Scholarships are awarded for pursuing undergraduate degree
programme.
The overarching aim
of establishing the University of Leeds was to transform the public higher

The School of
History is a leading centre for ground-breaking historical research and
innovative teaching. They are one of the largest departments in the UK, with
more than 40 academic staff.
If English is not
applicants’ first language, they will need a recognised English Language
qualification to be admitted onto any of the University’s degree programmes.
Course
Level: Scholarships
are awarded for pursuing undergraduate degree programme.
Study
Subject: Scholarships
are awarded for BA History or BA International History and Politics.
Scholarship
Award: The
scholarship consists of an annual award of £1,575 towards the cost of fees in
each of the awardees’ three years of study (amounting to a total value of
£4,725).

Eligibility: Applicants must meet all of
the following criteria to be eligible to apply for this Scholarship:-
To qualify to be
considered for a Katrina Honeyman Scholarship, applicants must be an
International student applying for entry in 2017 as a full-time undergraduate
in level one of BA History or BA International History and Politics. Applicant
must subsequently take up a place and remain on an eligible degree programme.

applicants are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

Entrance
Requirements: Applicants
must be an international student applying for entry in 2017 as a full-time
undergraduate in level one of BA History or BA International History and
Politics.
English language
Requirements:
If English is not applicants’ first language, they will need a recognised
English Language qualification to be admitted onto any of the University’s
degree programmes.
- IELTS
(International English Language Testing System) an overall band of
6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each component skill - TOEFL
(Test of English as a Foreign Language) of 87 (with no less than 20 in
listening, 20 in reading, 22 in speaking and 21 in writing) - Pearson
(Academic) of 60 overall with no less than 56 in any component - Cambridge
Advanced English (CAE) of 169 overall with no less than 162 in any component - Trinity
College Integrated Skills in English of a Pass in ISE II or above (if
taken in the UK).

examination results.
