We Are
Inyenyeri
is a for-profit corporation with a social business charter focused on providing
a healthy renewable energy solution in Rwanda that can be replicated across
sub-Saharan Africa. Inyenyeri uses a fuel-side, or utility company, approach to
ensure that even the poorest Rwandan households have access to clean cooking
fuel and high quality gasifying cook stoves. Inyenyeri’s revenue stream is
derived from the sale of biomass cooking fuel pellets. Our solution is a
cleaner, healthier, faster, cheaper and more sustainable alternative to
charcoal and wood cooking.
About
the Role
Inyenyeri
seeks a highly motivated and experienced professional Database&Software
Manager. Inyenyeri plans to scale rapidly and intends to reach a national, and
eventually international, customer base.
OurDatabase/Software
Manage will be responsible for managing different software development projects
within the company; lead the implementation of the expansion of Inyenyeri’s
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system as well as its continuous
maintenance and upgrades.
KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage
    and expand Inyenyeri’s current data libraries and build new ones as
    needed;
  • Do
    Daily Quality Control checks on data collected from the field staff;
  • Assist
    CRM users and troubleshoot issues as they arise;
  • Integrate
    different software packages into Inyenyeri’s regular operations, including
    supply chain functionality and call center systems;
  • Give
    regular internal trainings to Inyenyeri staff on different software
    packages (e.g. Excel, Google Drive, Word, Base camp, Inyenyeri’s CRM
    system, call center software package, inventory management software
    package etc.);
  • Develop
    reports using the analytics tools

QUALIFICATIONS
AND EXPERIENCE
  • University
    Degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Information Technology or
    related field
  • Advanced
    software development and coding skills – (, database management (NoSQL
    preferred);
  • Excellent
    planning, coordination, and reporting skills, with the ability to organise
    a substantial workload comprised of complex, diverse tasks and
    responsibilities;
  • Strong
    communication in English and Kinyarwanda (French Preferred), interpersonal
    and teaching skills with experience in leading multicultural,
    multi-location, values driven teams.
