Hajj pilgrim’s hostels to get liaison officers appointed by NAHCON

For each of the hotels given for Nigerian Pilgrims in Madinah, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has designated a liaison officer.

This was revealed by the Madinah Coordinator and Commission Acting Secretary, Ahmad Maigari, at a conference he held in the Prophet’s City with various service operators.

In a statement, he said the new initiative was to guarantee efficient monitoring, respond quickly to the requirements of pilgrims, and supervise their logistics requirements.

It is also to guarantee stress-free interaction and efficient communication between the management / staff and pilgrims of each of the hotels, according to him.

Mr Maigari said the event was for service operators, among others, to guarantee adequate handling and timely responses to the requests of Pilgrims.

The Madinah coordinator  said that the event was for the committee to also have first-hand details about the level of preparedness of the pilgrim service providers.

According to him, in the next three days, the pilgrims are expected to begin arriving in Madinah.

He reiterated NAHCON’s determination to guarantee pilgrims received the finest services and value from service providers for their hard-earned money.

He said there had been given all the needed requirements / logistics, ensuring there will be no excuse for any drawback.

The service providers pledged to grant the finest services to Nigerian pilgrims in their feedback.

The pilgrims ‘ inaugural flight is anticipated to take off on July 10 from Katsina. (NAN)
