The researcher was able to re-examine and ascertain
the health implication of the effect of soil erosion in the area of study. Data
were collected through the use of questionnaire and analyzed using the
descriptive and chi-square statistical method. The result gotten from the
analysis and findings indicate that there are significant level of awareness
about soil erosion, there are factors responsible for soil erosion, there are
possible ways/methods to combat and also reduce the environmental and health impact
of soil erosion and the absences of good drainage system contribute to the
problem of soil erosion.
