CA Global: Africa / International Positions have a client that is in need of a “Room Division Manager” (Hospitality / Management). The project will be in Liberia
Overview:
Looking for skilled candidate who can operate with little direction and uphold an acute service for the Hotel
Duties:
Report to General manager/ Deputy General Manager
Supervise general operations of front office, concierge service and all housekeeping duties
Strict spot check of hotel rooms to ensure hotel standards are met
Review management roster and assign duties for staff
Delegate training requirements and outline work schedule
Monitor and ensure that trained staff adheres to company specifications
Deal and negotiate with contractors/vendors as needed
Control that all activities of expenditure are kept within budget
Monitor revenues and expenses
Oversee and manage the décor and overall presentation of the hotel
Evaluate policies and procedures for business, operation of department(s) and management
(*) Additional duties of responsibilities shall be communicated at a later stage!
Requirements:
Education : Accredited certification in Hotel Management/ Bachelors in Business
Experience: 5-10 years relevant experience in hospitality industry
Held previous upper level management or executive position
Excellent customer service skills
Good administrative and organizational skills
Possess leadership abilities
Good sales and marketing skills
