CA Global: Environmental Engineering (Africa Positions) has a client that is in need of an Environmental Planner for green building projects. The position will be based in Morocco.
Responsibilities:
• To support LEED, green real estate urban development and green building projects
• To work with multidisciplinary teams to effectively implement green sustainable approaches to green infrastructure, buildings and the environment
• To provide technical project support and adaptation application of urban planning, environmental engineering, and/or landscape architecture methods in new construction
Requirements:
• Candidates are to possess a BSc or higher in Architecture, Environmental Science, Engineering or related discipline
• Must have at the very least 3 years experience in urban development, green building, and/or construction
• Fluency in technical French and English is a non negotiable requirement; conversational Arabic would be a plus
• Knowledge and experience with LEED, BREEAM, HQE or Green Globe standards and methods
• Ability and knowledge to engage in detailed technical discussions on urban development, civil engineering, architecture and landscape architecture issues
• Possess a solid understanding of infrastructure engineering
• Must have excellent self-leadership, interpersonal communication skills, and cultural sensitivity with the ability to effectively and tactfully interact with individuals
• Demonstrated ability with client relationship management and consultation
• Ability to quickly adapt to change and demonstrate flexibility to a variety of schedules to meet business needs
• Candidates must be able to work internationally in Morocco for a minimum of one year
