University of Liberia Chief Internal Auditor Job Vacancy in Liberia

Job Description:
The University of Liberia is seeking an applicant for the position of Chief Internal Auditor to head the Internal Auditing Department. The duties and responsibilities of the position include the following:

” Prepare and implement an audit program for all operations of the University of Liberia. This program shall include an assessment of the controls of the operational and financial systems designed to safeguard the assets of the University of Liberia;
” Prepare a formal report on the scope and results of each audit performed. Each audit shall contain an opinion on the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the system and the degree of compliance;
” Independently evaluate the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the system of internal controls currently in effect at the University of Liberia, including an evaluation of the quality of ongoing operations.
” Serve as a liaison between the Business and Finance Office and external auditors.

Job Requirement:
” MS in Accounting (Accounting certification preferred: CPA, CIA, etc,); or a graduate degree in a business discipline with a BS/BA in accounting.
” Minimum of five years experience of internal auditing in a supervisory position.
” Ability to work with diverse group of persons, innovative, with strong leadership skills.
