Duties Include:
Supporting all geological exploration for existing and new project expansions
Liaise closely with the Long Term Planning area for open pit and underground data
Part of global geology team conducting due diligence best practice methodologies, workflow assessment and technical services projects
Monitor external contractors and vendor suppliers related to geological deliverables and timelines
Operate projects within budget requirements related to division’s targets
Mentor junior staff members
Produce resource geostatistical modeling procedures
Travel to various operations within Liberia and the occasional international site.
Qualifications:
Degree in geology (or possibly mining related degree)
A Minimum 3 years+ exploration experience gained within the mining industry
Strong computer (mining/geology software) and modeling skills
Ability to travel out to site for short trips
Strong written and communication skills
