The Liberia Institute of Management (LIM) is a professional management training center that is based on the IFC training system specifically designed to strengthen the management skills of owners, managers and staff of small medium enterprises (SMEs). The management courses are training in six areas: Marketing Management,
Human Resource Management, Finance, Operations, Personal Productivity Skills, and Tourism and Hospitality.
The Training Manager will be responsible for day to day management and coordination of all training activities and projects.
Job Description:
•Make sure that all training activities are reported on
•Oversee all administrative and logistic support to the training implementation component of projects
•Oversee the development of all training materials (curricula)
•Handles the request for training materials, supplies and equipment
•Inspect lesson plans and monitor teaching methodology and technical skill of the facilitators and training assistants in the field and conduct refresher trainings as needed
•Ensure that training goals or objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters
•Prepared and monitor training calendar and schedule
•Design and conduct training workshop
•Monitors and evaluate training to ensure quality training is provided (class room visits announced and unannounced)
•Ensure timely and adequate supply of training materials
•Assist with recruitment of Trainers and Training Assistants
•Provide induction training for new trainers and trainees
•Prepare and monitor training budget
•Perform other duties as may be assigned
Required Qualifications
•MBA Degree Business or related field
•At least five (5) years experience in Training and Management
•Computer literate with good reporting writing skills
•Professional appearance and demeanor
•Commitment to LIM goals and objectives
