The Rural Infrastructure Supporting Enterprise (RISE) project will provide complementary infrastructure
investments in roads and civil works to support on-going agricultural, educational and economic growth projects. All work under RISE will be conducted in such a way as to focus on strengthening the capacity of local companies in the Liberian infrastructure sector through specific activities designed to address prequalification, classroom training, mentorship and work process training of both private and public sector contractors and consultants.
URS invites expressions of interest for the following long terms positions for the USAID/Liberia-funded Rural Infrastructure Supporting Enterprise (RISE) Project, which URS are currently preparing to bid for:
Chief of Party (COP) (job code 428)
– Provide overall leadership, management and general technical direction of the entire program.
– Ensure an integrated vision among different components and actors, with a focus on achieving results.
– Identify issues and risks related to program implementation.
Deputy Chief of Party – Planning Engineer (DCOP) (job code 429)
– Experienced in managing and implementing infrastructure programs.
– Provide design oversight to local architectural/engineering firms in the design of all projects.
– Provide assistance to the COP regarding issues of project design, implementation, risk assessment and mitigation activities.
Your past experiences in working on International Infrastructure Programs, preferably with USAID are ideal.
