Position: Administrative and Finance Officer (2 positions)
Reports to: Medical Director
Duty Station: Nimba County

The Administrative and Finance Officer will report to the Medical Director in the field and the Administrative Officer indirectly. S/He will provide support to the administrative and financial support under the EPHS/Nimba project,

Specific responsibilities include:
Manage project petty cash in the field,•
Ensure that staff and supervisors complete travel authorization form before travel•
Compute travel advances for staff according to Africare’s policy and submit to head office for approval and payment•
Verify the accuracy of all supplies/goods purchased•
Track staff daily attendance and leave and update information on a monthly basis;•
Keep updated personnel files of all staff based in Nimba as per checklist,•
Assist with preparation of batches•
Facilitate in the encashment of checks for program activities•
Liaise with head office finance staff to coordinate financial activities•
Update and prepare Incentives for all EPHS Nimba facilities;•
Compute travel advances for staff;•
Assist Administrative Officer in identifying and notifying sub-recipients on unsettled advances;•
Supply petroleum products to vehicles, generators and motorbikes;•
Custodian of office supplies in the field;•
Ensure that office equipment are serviced and working at all time•
Supervise office assistant and security guards;•
Provide logistical support for workshops in the field;•
Provide periodic update of petroleum products consumed in field;•
Responsible for the gathering of pro-forma invoices in the field;•
Will be required to live in Bong County; with occasional travel to the field and home office;•
Respond to correspondence as required by the Team Leader;•
Compile monthly staff attendance, asset, leave and financial reports.•

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
BA/BSc. in Accounting/Management and/or related field of study•
At least three – five years (3-5) working experience in your field of study•
Familiar with USAID and Donor funded policies and regulations•
Good Interpersonal Relationship•
Proficient in MS-Word, Excel•
Willingness to travel locally in Nimba County•
