The Mano River Women Peace Network (MARWOPNET), joint winner of the 2003 of UN Award for Human Rights, is a non-profit organization founded under the auspices of ECOWAS, AU and UN under the guardianship of Femmes African Solidarte (FAS) in 2000 in Abuja, Nigeria with the overarching goal of empowering
the women of the three Mano River Basin countries by concretizing and formalizing efforts made by them to be directly involved and actively participate in restoring peace in the Mano River Union Countries.
The Liberia Chapter of the Network is in search of a qualified Liberian for an immediate employment as Office/Program Manager.
Job Description:
Supervise the daily activities of administrative and operational staff including the planning and implementation of activities of the organization to ensure that each staff work plans and activities (both administrative and field work) are directed toward achievement of the Ensure all resources required for the overall goals and objectives; implementation of scheduled activities are available and on time Ensure that staff efforts are including personnel recruitment; coordinated so as to achieve the required output according to plans and programs;
Ensure monitoring and evaluation of activities for efficient and effective operations,
and output, and accountability and transparency as well;
Direct and motivate the employees for the smooth functioning of the Network programs;
Develop project proposal for resource mobilization and organizational capacity building and conduct follow up for the realization of achieving support.
Guide and stimulate staff for ensuring the adequate usage of available scarce resources to implement the activities and overseeing quality control throughout programs and project life cycle;
Effectively communicate program/project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion and appropriately ;
Ensure tools of conducting research and study such as needs assessments; monitoring and evaluation tools and guide their utilization during Develop and deliver progress reports, program implementation.
Identify proposals, requirements documentation, and presentation; potential crises, resolve issues and conflicts, and with approval manage
Ensure project follow-up, proactive changes in project scope; documentation, and dissemination of best practices and tools for project
Attend meetings and represent the execution and management ;
Organization in advocacy, lobby and networks with others in the promotion of women and development; peace and security and other related Perform other related tasks as maybe assigned by immediate areas.
Job Requirement:
Must have first degree in Business and Public Administration;
Computer proficiency;
Management including Accounting; and Economics;
Good Three years of progressive working experiences in management
Must be willing to interpersonal relationship including team work and Have excellent health as varied by learn and have the ability to learn an accredited Medical Doctor.
