Job Description:
Evaluate and decision existing and new business applications in line with relevant strategies
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of credit grading in an assigned portfolio.
Quantify potential loan losses and manage within expected levels using all available data
Adopt and demonstrate in practice The Key Principles of Professional Credit Management.
Present key learning points on credit issues to colleagues in assigned business areas.
Overall responsibility to ensure relevant credit unit process as outlined in operations manual are adhered to throughout your team
Complete Credit Professionalism Programme in line with your training plan
Manage the level of excess positions or arrears (DPD) that occur in the assigned portfolio.
Implement remedial action plans for vulnerable cases to reduce potential loss levels.
Gather and act on feedback from internal customers on significant trends impacting SME activity and decisions
Agree the commitments and expectations of the team with primary customers.
Achieve agreed service standards for application response times
Provide visible leadership and commitment to ensure that the complaint management standards and procedures are applied and maintained
