Salary: £40-45,000 per annum plus bonus scheme up to 20-30% of base.

Our Client
Our client is Europe’s leading provider of photovoltaic (PV) solar panels to homeowners, businesses & government organisations.

They are looking for a results focussed Operational Manager to organise, manage and schedule , to deliver, on time, to cost, Solar PV installations to residential, medium and large scale projects meeting all national construction, regulatory and health and safety requirements within the UK.

The Role:
* Overall responsibility of compliant install ready design.
* Monitor, control and report on targets for `order to install process` within STRIS, EXACT, PME tools.
* Sign off of finalised design for construction.
* Liaise with ST logistics and Materials planners to co-ordinate ordering and delivery of components and materials.
* Coordinate with external recourses for project management and installation planning.
* Contribute to project costing and logistics planning with Sales department.
* Management and communications of internal and sub contractor labour.
* Inc. Selection, recruitment, auditing, rate negotiation, of qualified installers for both internal and external positions.
* Management of financial paperwork as necessary (PO’s etc)
* Issue management and resolution for any and all install related problems.
* Post install customer servicing and management of CFW claims
* Responsibility for proprietary solarhub product functionality in each install
* Liaising with all other departments on order processing as necessary, e.g payment verification pre install
* Responsibility for production and management of post install paperwork
* Monitor, Manage and action Quality Assurance issues
* Schedule installations from order pipeline across multiple installation teams in multiple geographical regions
* Reporting positions: Engineering and Internal operations staff (Build and QA), external contractors.
* Material selection and purchasing of all standard and non-standard materials and equipment required for construction.

We require someone who is:
* Flexible in attitude and approach in a dynamic and fast changing environment.
* Must be a cool head and clean communicator under pressure.
* Conversant with variety of software tools and planning systems
* A value add team member able to implement and contribute to the boards strategic goals by establishing systems and protocols that realise safe, efficient and quality PV installations that surpass customer expectations.

The ideal background is:
* Logistics planning experience
* Background in construction industry with a PV engineering bias
* Experience/qualification in constructional and electrical industry – previous PV construction and design experience definite advantage.
* DNO application – understanding of G83/1, /2 and G59 regulation and experience of interfacing with DNOs to acquire all necessary permits to provide compliantly commissioned installations.
* Planning application- Understanding and experience of permitted development and planning application process for Solar PV installations
