The International HIV/AIDS Alliance supports communities to meet the challenges of AIDS and build healthier communities. Our vision is a world in which people do not die of AIDS. Since 1994, the Alliance and its partners have supported over 3,000 projects, in over 40 countries, reaching millions of people.
Reporting to the Head of Legal, Risk and Compliance Team, the focus will be on planning, organising and completing risk based audits across Alliance operations, including visits to overseas offices and partner organisations. Working with stakeholders at all levels; the Internal Audit or will encourage effective working relationships and be able to convey value added recommendations. The role will also include designing and delivering training as necessary, and managing external professional advisors.
The successful candidate will have experience in audit and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate directly with trustees and senior management. Knowledge of donor regulations including EC, USAID and Global Fund would be desirable.
