The Department of Clothing Design and Technology at MMU is well known for its ability to produce employable graduates for the apparel supply chain. We are looking to recruit a full time, permanent Senior Lecturer in Fashion Business, who will liaise with industry in order to promote our work and secure further
sandwich placement opportunities for students.
You will contribute to teaching at undergraduate and/or post graduate level, support academic enterprise and undertake research.
With a broad understanding of current international issues that impact graduate employment in the fashion industry, you will teach fashion business to a range of large and diverse audiences. This role will also require the appointee to travel both within the UK and further afield.
The successful candidate will be educated to higher degree/postgraduate level or possess equivalent substantive industry experience and be able to demonstrate knowledge of current practices in fashion business and the apparel supply chain in general.
