You will conduct cutting edge research in a recognised discipline of animal science applied to one or more companion animal species, and contribute to teaching of animal science at undergraduate and post graduate level. In particular, you will participate in the further development and delivery of the companion animal stream in our recently established MSc course in Applied Animal Behaviour and Welfare. You will have a good Honours degree and a PhD (or equivalent) in a biological or veterinary science, a national/international profile in companion animal science and a demonstrable network of research and professional contacts in this community. You will demonstrate the ability to contribute to a highly motivated research and teaching team through the publication of highly cited papers in leading international journals and the development and delivery of innovative and effective teaching and learning materials.
