In order to realise its huge potential, our client is seeking a talented UK Sales & Marketing Director with the vision and strategic flair to deliver and implement strategies for the achievement of ambitious revenue and profitability targets, within a demanding B2B service led environment.As a member of the senior management team you will be a proven leader, with the ability to motivate, energise and develop a high performing sales culture and team.
The Role:
• You will be responsible for the entire UK sales operation and revenue stream through an internal and external sales team including Sales Managers and Business Development Managers – “hunters”.
• From the outset you will identify key growth areas, implement and manage a robust sales strategy, leveraging customer relationships and delivering solid growth
• You will foster robust and influential relationships with key decision makers within both new and existing customers, driving added value through strategy execution and operational excellence
• You will lead from the front, developing sales and enhancing our client’s reputation as a market leader whilst maximising the potential of your team, to ensure that all business objectives are met
The Requirements:
• Degree educated supplemented with a MBA or MSc
• A sales management professional with a track record of developing successful commercial strategies within a multinational B2B sales and solutions selling environment which includes complex and activity based sales processes
• An energetic, motivational and action orientated leader, with a proven ability to provide clear strategic direction to a sales team in order to deliver significant growth.
• An excellent relationship builder, you will possess extensive experience of business to business consultative selling up to Board level, delivering high value contracts via the tender, proposal and presentation process.
• A focussed team player with strong commercial acumen, you will be able to make a significant contribution to the senior management team and organisational strategy.
