My client, a major property development and investment company has a requirement for a Senior Retail Marketing Manager.
We are looking for an individual who has a proven track record in working within a Marketing Management capacity within the retail sector (ideally fashion retail) although we are interested in reviewing individuals who have a shopping Centre Marketing or Destination Marketing background.
Key responsibilities:
– Monitoring marketing effectiveness against Portfolio and Retailer requirements and work with Regional Teams to develop , review and enhance Shopping Centre Marketing Plans
– Ensure marketing is consistent with Asset business plan deliverables and refers to ongoing sales and dwell targets
– Key Central Marketing Team Contact for Regional Marketing Teams
– Ensure marketing budgeting control across all Shopping Centre Assets
– Keep abreast of key marketing communication trends and ensure delivery where appropriate
The successful candidate will have line management responsibility for the B2B Marketing Manager and the Retail Parks Marketing Manager. You will undertake, develop ad manage a wide range of marketing and communication activities to increase exposure of the brand and drive sales performance across the UK Retail Business.
You will be involved in a number of key projects and marketing initiatives including:
– Coordination and delivery of any national, strategic development projects and B2C promotional/event activities
– Coordinate the delivery of any ‘multi-channel’ physical deliverables such as ‘Click & Collect Trial
– Assist the UK Marketing Director, HR Director and Corporate Communications Director with development and management of the organisations overall brand
– Work with the UK Marketing Director and Development Team to ensure clear proposition and branding for all UK Retail Developments
– Work with Research and Analysis team to identify research requirements
– Management of onsite development marketing resource
