Senior Auditor (Foreign Banks)
Responsibilities:
* Responsibilities
* • Audit of corporate banking and capital markets activities
* • Audit areas include treasury, loans, trade finance, position reconciliation, compliance, operations, and market/credit/operational risks
* • Regional auditing in Asia with up to 50% travel
* • Evaluate control processes in regular audits, investigations, and new processes
* • Conduct financial and operational reviews of overseas subsidiaries
* • Conduct financial, operational and compliance audits
* • Identify and define audit issues and root causes
* • Recommend improved internal controls and business processes
* • Ensure that corrective action plans are developed and implemented
* • Liaise with senior management to ensure the corrective actions for audit findings are communicated effectively and efficiently
* • Report any financial exposure when testing fails to meet objective of the certification requirements
* Requirements
* • At least 5 years of relevant banking experience, preferably with direct experience in the business areas
* • Good knowledge of products, processes and regulations in treasury, corporate banking and trade finance
* • Strong ability to understand and apply regulations in different jurisdictions
* • Sharp, analytical and able to work independently
* • Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills
* • High proficiency in English and medium proficiency in Chinese, both spoken and written
* • Proficient in MS office
* Salary ranges from $7,500 to $8,300/month
