Job Title: Operations & Production Manager Department: Operations
Location: Kampala
Responsibilities / Key Objectives:
– Responsible for the mapping and all operations and production activities.
– Provide leadership, motivation and manage the operations and production team to deliver the business unit’s (E&P) strategy while ensuring safe working environment and maximization of the value of the producing assets.
– Accountable for all field operations planning and execution.
– Accountable for field operations budgeting.
– Deliver nationalism and succession plan in the operations and production department by coaching, grooming, mentoring and being responsible for operational staff training and development.
Experience and Education:
– 15-20 years overall experience in oil and gas operations with a minimum of 10 years in an operations and production management role.
– Experience working with oil and gas offshore as well as the onshore operations.
– Bachelor’s degree in geosciences/engineering/project management.
