An upcoming Security services firm is looking for self driven experienced individuals willing to join its crew as:
Security Guards
Successful candidates will be expected to guard, patrol or monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions against clients’ business or an organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
Patrols industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
Transport parcels from one area to another for safe keeping as per clients’ requirements/ briefing.
1. They will be called upon to monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons in order to guard against theft.
2. Responsible to maintain secure premises. The Security Guards must be capable of writing reports about the daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences.
3. To call the police or fire departments in cases of emergency or if they smell smoke or have a sense that a fire is present or about to break out.. When they face unauthorized persons who refuse to leave the area then they should call the police at once.
4. They will be expected to circulate among visitors, patrons and employees to preserve order and protect property. .
5. Where required must answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions and provide information during non-business hours or when the switchboard or operations are closed.
6. The Security Guard is required after he has warned people of infractions or violations to apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary.
7. Must know how to operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas. Will be expected to be able to drive motor vehicles to escort individuals to specified locations and to provide personal protection.
8. Must inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering.
9. Must have full knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process.
Skill Requirements
• Education O-Level D+
• Certificate in Security
• Certificate of good conduct
• Experience 5 years experience as a security guard in a busy working environment
• physically fit without any disability
• honesty and integrity
• High level of alertness detail oriented
