Facilities
Managemnt Officer – To support CRES as facilities management officer; managing
premises under designated portfolio.

Roles and Responsibilities

â¢Manage
& Co-ordinate in-house Facilities Management team’s activities to ensure
maximum benefit to the Bank.
â¢Liaise with G.S in procuring items for building maintenance works of the bank
in a cost effective manner
â¢Assist the Head of Facilities Management to formulate and implement
strategies on the maintenance of properties.
â¢Supervise all repair and maintenance works to ensure that they conform to the
Group CRES standards.
â¢Scrutinize all Invoices for the works done and recommend for payment.
â¢Co-ordinate repair and maintenance works to ensure that Contractors are on
course and all works are completed on time.
â¢Monitoring Preventative Maintenance Works for quality works.
â¢Maintaining proper record keeping for all maintenance works for auditing.
â¢Tracking maintenance costs with budgets to prevent over expenditure and early
report on possible over expenditure.
â¢Work with country CRES Manager & Management in development &
implementation of real estate strategies, project delivery & optimization
of Project Management services.
â¢Identifying new trends or innovations that will bring benefit to the Bank in
the project/property management portfolio.
â¢Provide and communicate timely progress update on all repair and maintenance
work.
⢠Monitor performance of contractors and property services providers and drive
best value for Bank’s benefit.
â¢Assist Head of Projects to handover projects after approval from consultants.
â¢Conduct periodic inspection of bank premises as per portfolio and undertake
an inventory of the state of the premises.
â¢Assist in the preparation of annual country CRES budget including operational
and capital projects budgets.
â¢To ensure that Group CRES project management process, tendering & project
monitoring processes are adhered to.
â¢To manage space planning and movement (churn).
â¢Any other assignment as assigned by Regional Head of CRES (W. Africa).

â¢Access to all Branches, Departments and Residential Properties.
â¢Inspection of projects for effective delivery of works according to
specification
and Group CRES standards.
â¢Develop and implement facilities/ project management plans.
â¢Managing project management service providers and consultants.
â¢Managing LCR of equipment in portfolio
â¢Managing PMF in CRES related expenditure
â¢Managing WebCore activities and system to ensure up to date information and
accurate cost recharges in notional rent
Qualifications
and Skills

â¢A good bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Building Management and a
Project Management Background will be an added advantage.
â¢Good knowledge of I.T. Systems and Capabilities to facilitate data analysis
and reporting.
â¢Good team player, ability to work in a cross cultural environment.
â¢Co-ordinate multiple tasks across geographical locations, plan, deliver and
improve work to meet deadlines.
â¢Good Communication and Negotiation skills.
