Overview
You will be responsible for providing legal support on a variety of matters from day-to-day operational real estate transactions to large-scale, construction and development projects.
You should have prior experiences in both contentious and non-contentious construction, engineering and arbitration matters.
Providing a “full-service” facility across the network advising clients on all aspects of large-scale construction and engineering projects acting on landmark commercial real estate developments, major infrastructure, and projects for clients including developers, construction contractors, financiers, local authorities, government, investors, corporate occupiers and relevant parties.
You will be expected to draft and negotiate complex project documentation, from consultant appointments to engineering and procurement contracts and long term service agreements, always with a commercial focus and an understanding of the practical issues that can arise on complex projects.
Your transactional experiences should have honed your ability to grasp legal issues quickly while advising with commercial awareness and business savvy.
Requirements
• Bachelor of Law degree admitted to Singapore Bar
• Min 3-5 years’ PQE in practice or in-house
• Min 3-5 years of working experience within a Contracts/Commercial environment preferably in the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) related organizations.
• Prepared to be called to the Singapore Bar
• Strong drafting, legal and negotiation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Good team spirit, able to work independently, able to deliver jobs within tight schedule, apt to work under pressure and tight schedule
• Only Singaporean or PR
