Required qualifications:• Bachelor degree in Life Science (with or without honours), with 1-3 years of related research experience.
Responsibilities:
• Perform genotyping work (includes design of primers and hybridizing probes, optimization of assay, and analysis of genotyping assays).
• DNA extraction from whole blood using different methods.
• Conduct elementary statistical analyses of study data.
• Assist principal investigator in the preparation of posters for meetings, and papers for submission to peer reviewed journals.
• Apply standard operating procedures, and make safety and health audits.
