Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing strategic leadership in developing Company’s Energy sector in Singapore. This position is responsible for achieving strong sector growth through the development and delivery of leading
edge and commercially viable solution and project sets. This position is also responsible for managing the sector Key Account Managers.
Develop and implement a strategic business plan for achieving revenue growth in line with the regional & corporate objectives;
• Work in collaboration with Sector Integrated Solutions HOD to build capability
• Develop Infrastructure in location where the business warrants. Create a pipeline;
• Focus on 2-3 targets personally and maintain century account relationship as well as QBR activities;
• Develop an experienced Key Account Management team;
• Responsible for driving in market growth and ensuring operational excellence;
• Develop a target account list and work proactively to assist the sales organization to develop and secure customers globally;
• Provide overall leadership, direction and management of the operation and business development efforts for the BD team in Singapore – spearheading business development initiatives that are consistent with the company’s overall strategy;
• Develop a high performance sales culture within the BD team. Aggressively train, develop, coach, and appraise individuals to achieve agreed upon objectives to exceed the business goals;
• Preparing presentations and monitoring sales leads and responses;
• Supporting region and product P&L owner to prepare annual budget and monthly management reports.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma with at least 10 years experience in logistics / supply chain related industry
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently;
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
• Experience managing and developing high level customer relationships in blue chip organizations;
• Knowledge of Energy sector;
• Experience in Supply Chain services (compliancy regulations, customs formalities, specialized handling, free-zone and lead times)
• Significant sales and marketing change management experience supported by advanced conceptual and logistics skills, high levels of numerical and verbal reasoning and be of advance intellectual ability;
• Demonstrated success in leading, supervising, managing and developing individuals and high performance teams;
• Worldwide, regional and local market knowledge and commercial understanding;
• Financial (P&L, Balance Sheet, Forecasting, Budgets) knowledge.
• Ability to be “customer-facing” for local and international clients and interpret their requirements, needs and planning.
• Understanding of contract logistics & freight management market;
• Ability to analyze requirements and formulate strategies;
• Project and program management / direction skills;
• Experience with or ability to understand, commercial implications of solutions proposed, potential areas of risk and methods to limit liabilities;
• Demonstrated success in challenging the status quo, championing new business development initiatives, management ideas, and value added sales ideas;
• Ability to articulate issues, present “pros and cons” and provide solutions at the board level;
• Maturity and tactfulness in dealing with high-powered stakeholders i.e. external customers;
• Uncompromised integrity;
• Strong sense of urgency and an unparallel hunter mentality in developing new sales activity.
• Must be PC literate;
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific related software applications.
