Salary Range: $22.70 – $29.72 per hour, as per the AUPE Collective Agreement

Hours of Work: 11.25 hour day and evening shifts
Responsibilities
The Licensed Practical Nurse participates in therapeutic nursing functions such as nursing care plan development, implementation and modification, patient assessment, activities of daily living, special treatments, mobilization, teaching, provision and emotional support and other related duties as required. The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for completing all assigned duties safely and for helping to ensure a healthy environment for patients, co-workers and the public.
Qualifications
Graduate of an approved program of Practical Nursing required.
Active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA) required.
Current Heart & Stroke Foundation – BLS Level C Healthcare Provider required.
Excellent organizational skills and time management.
Demonstrated and effective communications skills.
Must practice to full LPN scope
Previous general and emergency experience an asset
