In line with our expansion plans, we are seeking an Internet Marketing Executive to assist the Marketing Manager for the group in ensuring that marketing activity, store support services and basic marketing processes are delivered in a timely and professional manner.

MARKETING & SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE
Kuala Lumpur

Responsibilities:
• New media savvy, manage and update the social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Forum, Website, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Blogger Ads, etc.
• To post updates on a daily basis to keep the social media interesting.
• To run and evaluate the web marketing for online campaign.
• To generate excitement by creating online surveys, contests, promotions, raise discussions, etc.
• To update all social media with relevant news and announcements.
• Attend to online interactions and response to online enquiries and also online live chat via website.
• To plan and execute online marketing strategies.
• To carry out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness.
• Constantly get updated with latest online marketing tools and ideas.
• To provide continuous improvement of existing web pages.
• To assist in the visualizing of creative direction, execute instructions and put it into design/artwork.
• To develop design briefs by gathering information and data through research.
• Proofreading and meticulous checking to produce accurate and high quality work.

Administrative Tasks:-
• Collate new members’ loyalty card application form, key-in data for new application, update information on existing loyalty card members, send latest member’s information to the webpage hosting agency and update database information.
• Send monthly birthday invitation to members’ children and tracking the redemption cards received from the stores.
• Send monthly vouchers to on-line members who register at Baby & Me Club and track the redemption vouchers from the stores.
• Co-ordinate and liaise with all Mothercare and ELC stores’ staff on printing of the price ticket.
• Responsible for all administrative job for the department (printing, laminating, circulation of monthly bulletin for Mothercare & Gingersnaps, respond to store request for POS materials and filling).
• Track, record and file all A & P expenses in the Excel file for all brands.
• To assist in the logistics and coordination of launches for new store opening or re-opening and other events.

Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Marketing / Business Development/ Online Marketing / Mass Communication or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): Facebook, Twitter, Google Apps, Internet Messenger, Web Analysis, Email Marketing.
• Preferably with at least 1 year relevant working experience in the retail line.
• Must understand basic marketing and administration principles.
• Able to understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or scheduled form.
• Able to solve practical problems
• Must be organised, self-motivated, detail-oriented and deadline focused.
• Good command of written and oral English is essential and ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, creative and organisation skills.
• An eager learner and enthusiastic taker, pleasant personality.
• Good knowledge of social media networks, social media tools, internet marketing tools and online communities.
• Must be able to meet tight deadlines.
• Fresh graduates with good academic results are encouraged to apply.
