The Job:
• Structuring creative and innovative proposals which address the requirements of clients whilst ensuring compliance to prevailing guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Provision of corporate finance advice to the clients.
• Preparation of announcements, circulars, submissions and offering documents for the corporate finance transactions handled by the investment bank.
• Co-ordination with other professionals involved in the corporate finance transactions.
• Liaising with regulators on the processing of submissions for corporate finance transactions.
Responsibilities:
• You will be responsible in advising clients in matters in relation to corporate finance transactions such as initial public offerings (IPO), mergers and acquisitions, company valuation, corporate restructuring and fund raising from the debt and equity capital markets.
• You will be involved in executing transactions, including deal assessment, financial modeling, due diligence, preparing concept papers and reviewing documents, announcements and relevant correspondence.
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in corporate finance or corporate advisory and attached to banks or accounting firms.
• Exposure in the area of mergers and acquisitions, listings, securities issues, corporate finance transactions will be an added advantage.
• Candidates with Module 12 & 19 qualifications preferred.
• Good understanding of the rules, regulations and guidelines issued by SC, Bursa Malaysia, BNM, MITI, and FIC relevant to corporate finance matters will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytics skills and up-to-date with happenings in the market and/or industry.
• Able to perform under pressure.
