ASCOM is active with major oil companies for debottlenecking/production boosting projects, newbuilt facilities for both onshore/offshore. We are engaged in dedicated R&D projects related to subsea processing and we have a high workload on conceptual studies for debottlenecking, heavy oil and subsea processing. To expand our skilled and dynamic team we are looking for Process/Sales Engineers reporting to our Regional Manager in KL.
Senior Process / Sales Engineer
Kuala Lumpur
Responsibilities:
• Studies and development of technical solutions, process design and proposals
• Support the team in clarification meetings with customer
• Prepare technical presentations and present to clients and understand the clients technical requests and future plans
• High level knowledge of Separation and Processing Products and Solutions
• Ensure good handover to Project Execution within Engineering
Requirements:
• University degree in chemical, mechanical engineering or physics
• 5 to 15 years oil and gas process experience
• Knowledge and experience of advanced separation technologies for FPSOs, subsea processing useful
• Fluent command of the English language (both written and spoken) / Chinese and/or Korean language skills are an advantage
The first period, the candidate will get technical training in ASCOM’s technologies and design rules in the Netherlands office, in addition to assist in the preparation of quotations to become familiar ASCOM’s workflow and business, as well as sizing and pricing.
In periods the candidate will also be involved in R&D/testing work to be familiar and possess latest knowledge of technology performance.
