Project Manager (Based in Kuantan)
Pahang
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for overall management and control of assigned projects, involving engineering, procurement, manufacturing, erection and commissioning of oil and gas facilities, storage tanks, spheres and vessels.
• To organize weekly/monthly progress meetings with project team and management regularly to update progress of projects and resolve issues.
• Liaise with consultants/authorities for the authority clearances.
• To supervise and direct the project team to deliver project on time & within budget.
• To ensure that all projects are within contractual schedule, budget and quality requirements in accordance to the KPI(s) set by the Management.
• To establish, upkeep and report on project control deliverables.
• To be responsible for overall contract administration, variation orders and project billings.
• To establish proper system of reporting from sites and inter-departments to ensure smooth project implementation.
• To establish a proper project management team and define the job description of each member of the team.
• To supervise, monitor and control contractors, subcontractors and suppliers for the successful completion of all projects.
Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 8 years experience in project management of oil and gas projects of multi-discipline with preference for particular experience in process equipment, storage tanks and spheres.
• Strong knowledge of EPC work processes.
• Must have good command of written and spoken English.
• Should have an international outlook and must be willing to travel overseas.
• Must have strong leadership, charismatic and pleasant personality
