Electronics
Test Engineer

• Responsible to design, implement and execute
  functional / performance testing against specifications for specific
  analog, digital and mixed-signal leading-edge ICs and products
• Responsible to involve in carrying out
  comprehensive electronic testing to international standards at on-site or
  off-site test laboratories as well as working closely with the design
  engineers team and external vendors to select, specify, and qualify
  components and materials for electronics designs
• To involve in all phases of product
  development including definition, design for testability, test hardware
  and software design, hands-on debug, characterisation, and manufacturing
  release
• Able to write or assist in the development of
  test plans and test procedures
• Responsible for managing an engineering and
  test lab environment as well as specifying and procuring lab tools and
  test equipment

The Person:

• Bachelor / Master of Science in Electrical
  Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of related working
  experience in related semiconductor industries
• Must be equipped with hardware development
  skills including Circuit Design, Schematic Capture and Board Layout
• Proficient in the use of various PCB soldering
  tools / techniques
• Proven ability to debug and repair products to
  component level
• Software and script development experience
  using Labview, C / C++, Perl, TCL and / or Visual Basic for the
  development of test and control programs and scripts to integrate and
  automate various test equipments will be an added advantage
• Hands
  on experience with lab equipment and their setup, calibration and usage:
  power supplies, DMMs, oscilloscopes, function generators, signal
  generators, spectrum analysers, power meters, data acquisition (DAQ)
  devices, etc
• Understand signal integrity, ESD, termination
  and probing issues and solutions.
• Familiarity with standard measurement
  techniques including phase and noise measurements, clock jitter
  measurements, power measurements
• Ability to demonstrate good system level
  understanding of various types of IC and product configurations. In
  particular, understanding of Power Management products and their
  corresponding test strategies, including LDO’s, Buck and Boost regulators,
  Battery Chargers, etc would be an added advantage
• Familiarity with Gauge R&R, FMEA and
  statistical analysis an added advantage
• Familiarity with international standards for
  IC qualification and characterisation like JEDEC, IEC, ISO, etc
• Excellent analytical, project management,
  communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to learn new concepts and designs
• Good verbal and written command of the English
  language
