Upendo Daima Centre Manager Job Vacancy in Tanzania

Upendo Daima is a project for street children in Mwanza
Tanzania. UD has a humanitarian approach towards all “marginalized people” in
our society but focus on offering non judgemental care and compassion to the
street children of Mwanza, regardless of
their background, capabilities or religious affiliation. The organisation is
looking for the qualified Tanzanians to fill the following post.

Position: Centre Manager (1 Post)

Requirements, Knowledge and experience

To think and plan ahead concerning activities
and future vision of the centre and the whole
To supervise daily activities and make sure
the plan is followed
To handle petty cash for the centre’s daily
activities
Person should be people oriented and
interested in the street children issue
Preferably have worked in a comparable
organisation in a leading position
Have demonstrated capabilities to lead an
organisation and give guidance to a small group of staff
Preferably have completed a university or
comparable schooling in sociology
Possess working knowledge of financial
management and bookkeeping
Possess working knowledge of computer and be
familiar with Microsoft office
Should be at least 30 years old
Be able to express him/herself accurately and
be able to develop medium and longer term strategies for the organisation
Be able to prepare monthly reports and annual
reports
Honest, energetic, self motivated and strong
emotional stability
