Description
There is a vacancy for a TECHNICIAN – INSTRUMENTATION in the Distillery. This
position is responsible for maintenance. Installation and repairing of all
Instrumentation equipment, electronic. electro-pneumatic instruments. devices
and equipment in the Distillery, thus providing a prompt and efficient service
to fellow customers. Ensuring Good and safe Maintenance Practices at all times.
Grade:C3
Reports to:Maintenance Superintendent – Instr/Elec./Mech.
Co-ordination and communication skills
Fluent with speaking/reading/writing in English Troubleshooting skills
Able to work across all engineering discipline
pressure.
Work without supervision and co-operative
Comprehensive literacy and numeracy knowledge Computer structures and
operations
Safety systems and lockout procedures
Interpretation of Instrumentation circuits and drawings Control loops and
valves
Electronics- analogue and digital, Fault tracing and remedy
Electrical switchgear and systems, Mechanical systems and equipment.
Essential- Full Technician Certificate with Maths and Science Preferable
Diploma in Electrical Engineering LIC with maths and science
Essential- Minimum of 3 Years practical in maintenance of Instrumentation .
equipment.
Preferable – 5 Years in maintenance of Instrumentation and Electrical eqUipment
in a chemical manufacturing facility, preferably a distillery Mechanical
knowledge of pumps etc. Exposure to statutory maintenance.
