Salary Band: $38,630 – $43,665 – $48,700

Major Purpose:
Reporting to the Contracts Manager and supporting the Contracts Project Officers, the Contracts Coordinator is responsible for the administrative functions of processing GMF contracts as well as the disbursements (both studies/plans and capital projects)..

Key Responsibilities:
* Process/update contracts in accordance with pre-established templates with content information supplied by Project Officers and Managers;
* Process the Applicant’s disbursement requests and identify any problems with invoices or missing information to be provided by Applicants before forwarding to the Project Officers;
* Act as an additional point of contact for Applicants (including municipal staff, municipal elected officials, and private sector representatives) through the contracting and disbursement processes including exchanging information and answering inquiries related to status;
* Act as key liaison between Project Officers and other FCM staff related to status of contracts and disbursements;
* Answer general enquiries concerning GMF’s contract and disbursement processes and refer more detailed enquiries to appropriate parties;
* Manage the electronic and hard copy filing and update the project database with all relevant information;
* Ensure that all the required information has been received by the Applicant in order to complete the contract template;
* Contributes to the development of new contract and disbursement procedures that increase the efficiency of those processes.

Knowledge and Experience:
* Requires strong administrative support and processing knowledge with a strong focus on organizational coordination and/or customer service typically acquired through the completion of some post-secondary education specialized in the area of office administration or a minimum of three years work experience in a related administrative field;
* Requires strong working knowledge of the MS Office suite;
* Requires strong communication skills both written and verbal;
* Excellent customer relations skills;
* Bilingualism in French/English is a requirement of this position.
