Job Description:
Responsibilities:
• Formulate and execute distribution, sales
and branding to increase feet flow and boost sales e.g. retail to end-customers
through effective in-store branding/promotions, merchandising,
POSM, incentive
programs etc;
• Ensure development of retail business plans
that will increase market share and sales (Volume and Value), and provide
execution guidance;
• Manage and drive customer satisfaction
index (CSI) through effective relationship and performance management of
Retail, Samsung Brand Shops (SBS) and Field Force (SRR’s & FSS’s) teams;
• Responsible for the ‘look and feel’ of
Retail, SBS and Field Force teams as per SEC guidelines;
• Responsible for the delivery of CE Channel,
SBS and Field Force team Volume & Value and e-warranty targets as per
plans;
• Ensure continuous transfer of skills and
product knowledge to Channel, SBS and Field Force employees in liaison with CE
Product Managers and Training teams;
• Monitor Master Dealer’s selling price of
all CE models and advising channel partners accordingly;
• Management of MOU’s and agreements between
Samsung Electronics Company (SEC), Channel, SBS and Field Force partners;
• Responsible for managing weekly PSI and PFI
mode between Channel and SBS partners;
• Management of CE Channel Management
business unit’s budget incorporating continuous review of resources and
strategic plans into forecasts/reviews;
• Provide oversight and leadership of Retail
team performance management, staff recruitment as per approved headcount and
budget, staff training and development key staff (talent differentiation);
• Provide market intelligence reports with
regards to trends, benchmarking, competitor comparison and brand measurements;
• Recommend process and systems improvement
to enhance quality and efficiency within the business;
• Prepare periodic (weekly, monthly,
quarterly etc) management and ad hoc reports.
The Person:
• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in
Business Administration/Sales/Marketing/Social Science from a reputable
institution;
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in MCG/CE
Vendor/Retail environment;
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in
Brand/Product Marketing role;
• Proven experience in developing structured
and cost effective brand development strategies;
• Ability to lead process improvements
resulting in improved service delivery, exploitation of technology and enhanced
customer/end-user experience;
• Proven experience in channel development
and growth initiatives;
• Proven experience in motivating Channel,
SBS and Field Force teams to double their efforts to improve sales within the
assigned region;
• Entrepreneurial, self-starter with hands-on
approach;
• Knowledge of Samsung CE products will be an
added advantage will be an added advantage.
